BONNIE AND CLYDE

Bonnie and Clyde were twins.  They were found orphaned and alone.  They were hours away from starvation when they were found.  They were taken home to be loved and fed and cared for.  Bonnie and Clyde were kept as pets for many years.  When they came to Ark Angels, they had never known any other raccoons but each other and had spent much of their later life in a small cage.  Imagine their surprise when they entered the huge condo with all of the other residents.  It took a few days of adjustment, but they made friends and fit into their new family.  Interestingly, they never hung out with each other again.

While Clyde was just a regular guy and hung out.  Bonnie, on the other hand, was a tricky girl.  She studied you very carefully and waited for her opportune moment to make a break for it.  And, she did on three different occasions.  Luckily, in those days there were only a few neighbors and they were animal people.  So, when Bonnie took off, she immediately went to a particular house, through the open door and straight away to the lady of the house's purse.  She would eat all the mints and candy and make off with the cigarettes.  Then she would return home, sans cigarettes, and be waiting to be let back into the condo!  She was one of life's little mysteries.

Clyde passed away one winter day when he was 18.  Bonnie followed two years later.
